Traditional Japanese Yukihira Saucepan for Everyday Cooking
This copper Yukihira saucepan is handcrafted in Japan by Nakamura Copperworks, a maker known for traditional Japanese copper cookware.
Yukihira pans are widely used in Japanese kitchens for boiling, simmering, and sauce preparation. Copper’s excellent thermal conductivity allows heat to spread quickly and evenly across the pan, supporting precise temperature control during cooking.
The exterior features a hand-hammered copper surface, created by shaping the metal with a mallet. This traditional technique increases surface area, helping improve heat transfer while giving the pan a distinctive handcrafted texture.
Available in four sizes (15 cm, 18 cm, 21 cm, and 24 cm), this saucepan is suitable for both professional kitchens and home cooking.

Care Instructions
Before first use:
Wash the pan and boil water in it (fill approximately 70–80%) before cooking.
After use (inside):
Wash with water and a soft sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing to protect the tin lining.
After use (outside):
Dry with a soft cloth. Copper naturally develops a patina over time.
Cautions
Do not heat the pan while empty as this may damage the tin lining.
Do not store cooked food inside the pan overnight. Transfer leftovers to another container.
