Before first use: Wash and boil water (fill to about 70–80%).
-
After use (inside): Wash with water and a soft sponge; avoid harsh scrubbing to protect the tin lining.
-
After use (outside): Wipe dry with a soft cloth; copper naturally develops a patina over time.
-
Cautions:
-
Do not heat empty – may damage the tin lining
-
Do not store food inside overnight – transfer leftovers to another container
