Compact Japanese Cast Iron Teapot & Kettle Set for Tea Preparation
This Nambu cast iron teapot and kettle set is handcrafted in Japan by Iwachu, designed for both tea brewing and boiling water.
Featuring the traditional “Arare” (hailstone) pattern, this set reflects the long-established aesthetic of Japanese ironware. The compact 0.65L capacity makes it suitable for preparing tea for one to two people.
Unlike typical teapots with enamel coating, the interior uses a kiln-baked (kamayaki) finish, allowing the piece to function as a small kettle over direct flame.
The set includes a cast iron trivet and a stainless-steel tea strainer, making it ready for immediate use.
