Compact Japanese Cast Iron Kettle for Everyday Tea Preparation
This Nambu cast iron kettle (tetsubin) is handcrafted in Japan, designed for boiling water for tea and daily use.
Featuring the traditional “Arare” (hailstone) pattern, this kettle reflects the long-established aesthetic of Japanese ironware. Its compact 0.9L capacity makes it suitable for preparing smaller servings of tea, coffee, or hot water.
The interior is finished using a traditional kiln-baked (kamayaki) process rather than enamel coating, allowing for authentic tetsubin performance.
A movable folding handle provides practical handling and easier storage, making it suitable for both traditional and modern kitchens.
